Dr. Kahu Kaleo Patterson is a Hawaiian pastor and professor of peace and nonviolence. He teaches Indigenous Peacemaking and Ho’oponopono as Peacemaking courses at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He is president of the Pacific Justice and Reconcilation Center (PJRC) in Honolulu, Hawaii. PJRC is an umbrella organization under which Dr. Patterson and Dr. Ha’aheo Guanson direct the Chinatown Peace Center in Chinatown, Downtown Honolulu as well as the University of Hawaii Manoa Center for Indigenous Leadership and Peacemaking including other programs that support and promote peace and nonviolence education and community service.
